Synthesizing our understanding of Children and War

Hi everyone.  We have spent some time trying to understand the impact of war on children around the world.  As a way to bring it all together and share your insights please go to Reflections 2A or 2B.  The groups will stay the same as last time:
  • If you were in group 1A complete 2A this time
  • If you were in group 1B complete 2B this time
Your task is to: 1) watch the interview; 2) complete the reflection task (by Monday April 16th); and respond to at least 2 other postings (after Monday).

I look forward to reading what you have to say.

Our first time.....

Ok - If you are reading this you should have a proper, professional gmail account and are ready to contribute to our class blog.  As Ms. Jones and I have discussed with you - we are going to start with online discussion groups that focus on the themes of the course.  Your have been divided in two groups and will work on separate pages on this blog.  Group A views and responds to REFLECTION 1A and Group B views and responds to REFLECTION 1B

The goal of having a discussion in this format is:
1.  To gain valuable multi-media skills that you need for future blog projects (in this class and the rest of your life)!
2.  To create safe space for insightful critical discourse on social justice themes.
3.  To learn from each other - we all have unique and valuable ideas to share and contribute.

GROUP A: Emily, Connor,  Tony, Esther, Selam, Ann, Silver, Michelle, Tala, Jessica, Emma, Marie-Claire,  Homa

GROUP B:  Emily M, Mina, Marjahn, Edison, Dorina, Meagan, Micheal, Shriya, Angie, Neena, Gabby, Hannah,  Jacob

Let the fun begin!!
